Month end | 4-for-3 spa madness

Our family restaurant Forage & Feast is normally open only on weekends and holidays.
However, we will be open only on selected days over the Festive Season. Please call us to check our operating times.

The Guest House

Our rooms have TV’s and a Tea/Coffee Station.
There are 3 guest rooms, 2 of which have a private spa bath and Queen extra length beds.

The 3rd room has a King extra length bed that can convert to 2 singles and can accommodate another 2 single beds.
  • Check in is from 2.30p.m. on day of arrival.
  • Check out is by 10.30a.m. on day of departure.
  • We require a minimum booking of 2 people per room on weekends
  • Dinner and Lunch are not included in the rates
  • No self-catering facilities are available.
  • We keep it rustic so that you can enjoy a back to nature farm stay.
  • Cool off in our swimming pool on those lazy hot days…
  • Weekday Bed & Breakfast Rate - R695pp per night with a single supplement of R150.
  • Friday, Saturday & Public Holiday Rate - R1390 per room sleeping 2 people, cost per additional person is R695 .

Latest strawberry picking update

Our Strawberry Picking Season has come to a close until September 2024!
Now is the time for preparing and planting as nature intended for our next season.

However, our restaurant is open. A visit to our restaurant is a must!!! We offer a delicious range of goodies from breakfasts to light lunches and all sorts of decadent treats like fresh strawberry milkshakes, strawberry & Dutch apple waffles & our signature strawberry cheesecake – to die for!

Slow Food movement

We rely on the seasonal produce grown on the farm. This produce is grown naturally, without the use of artificial chemicals, pesticides or herbicides, and is allowed to grow to it’s full potential, down in the fields. Yes, we use the farms’ heirloom vegetables, so don’t be surprised if you come across purple, white, red or yellow carrots or yellow, orange, purple or green tomatoes, different lettuces, red or pink or blue potatoes, these are normal for us. Yes, different. Yes, exciting. No, not genetically modified in any way.
These ideals can be summed up by the philosophy of the Slow Food movement, and this ethos is:
  • Saturday to Sunday 08:00 to 16:00
  • Good, fresh, seasonal and locally produced (where-ever possible).
  • Producing clean food that is not harmful to the environment, animal welfare or our own health.
  • Fair market conditions and reasonably priced food items.

Our menus are seasonal. Our menus are often bolstered with a chalkboard specials board.
