We are open every Saturday & Sunday 8 – 4 until early December

We are still very busy in the fields, watering, weeding, looking after those delicious red berries. The flowers open, the fruit forms and is ripening … and we never cease to be amazed at it all … it is all up to nature!

A visit to our restaurant is a must!!!

Our restaurant is open on weekends during strawberry season where we serve lots of delicious strawberry delights… strawberry mousse, strawberry waffles, our unforgettable double-thick fresh strawberry milkshake and the cake that everyone travels far for…our unforgettable signature strawberry cheesecake, to die for…!

We also offer a delicious range of goodies from breakfasts to light lunches and all sorts of decadent waffle treats !

Visit our little shop which stocks homemade jams, marmalades, biscuits, chilli sauces, strawberry vinaigrette, etc…

From Johannesburg

From the N1, take the R512 Malibongwe (previously Hans Strydom) Road at Randburg and head North (away from the city). Continue along this road past the Lanseria turn off, to the T-junction at Broederstroom. (Thatched T-junction Farm Stall in front of you). Turn left and continue travelling along this road for approximately 18 kms, past Pecanwood Estate, straight past the Sun City/Brits turnoff at the end of the Hartbeespoort Dam, over a railway line to the R560 T-junction. Turn left at this T-junction, on to R560 (Krugersdorp, Magaliesberg, Hekpoort Road) – van Gaalen’s Cheese Farm will be on your right. Continue for 1 km, over the Scheerpoort River, past the Laerskool Skeerpoort on your left. At the end of the school’s property, turn left at S46 on to TANGAROA Farm. If you miss our entrance you will find a Total petrol station and then have a left hand bend in the road, with vegetable fields after that on the left hand side. If you find this, you have gone too far!

From Pretoria

Follow the Old N4 West signs through the city, or take Vom Hagen Street from the vicinity of the Fresh Produce Market. This becomes the Quagga Toll Road towards Hartebeespoort Dam/Rustenburg. After the Pelindaba Toll Gate, travel to the end of the toll road and turn left (towards Pelindaba). At the next stop street, turn right (on to the Pelindaba road towards Broederstroom). Follow this road, past the Pelindaba power station (NECSA), over the Crocodile River, to the Lanseria/Randburg R512 THREE WAY STOP intersection (thatched Farm Stall on your right).

Continue travelling straight on this road, past Pecanwood estate, straight past the Sun City/ Brits turnoff at the end of the Hartebeespoort Dam, over a railway line to a T-junction.Turn left at this T-junction (R560, Krugersdorp, Hekpoort, Magaliesberg), (van Gaalen’s Cheese Farm on your right), continue for 1km, over the Scheerpoort River, past the Laerskool Skeerpoort on your left, to the end of the school property; and turn left at S46 on to TANGAROA Farm. If you miss our entrance you will find a Total petrol station and then have a left hand bend in the road, with vegetable fields after that on the left hand side. From Rustenburg, Brits and the Platinum N4

Follow the Hartbeespoort Dam signs to the 4-way Stop intersection at Damdoryn, where there are TWO Engen Garages, one with a Wimpy, and the other has a KFC and small shopping centre behind it. This is the area where the tourists stop for curios and at the Flea Market at Chameleon Village. From this intersection, take the R560 – this is the road going UP THE HILL – over Kommando Nek and continue along this road for exactly 12 kilometres from the 4-way stop. In these 12 kilometres you will pass the Kosmos turn-off, the Randburg turn-off, the entrance to Magalies Park Golf Estate, Green Leaves wedding Village, Leopard Lodge, and the Van Gaalen Cheese Farm. Then you will cross the Scheerpoort river, pass the Laerskool Skeerpoort on your left, and at the end of the school property turn left at S46 on to TANGAROA Farm. If you miss our entrance you will find a Total Garage and then have a left hand bend in the road, with vegetable fields after that on the left. You will then have gone too far!

From the West Rand

From the South West, get off the N1 Concrete Highway on to Hendrik Potgieter Rd at Gordon or 14th Avenue off ramp. Travel along Hendrik Potgieter; past Trade Centre, Makro and Clearwater Mall; towards Little Falls and past the Ruimsig Golf Course.
From the Roodepoort area, get on to Hendrik Potgieter; past Trade Centre, Makro and Clearwater Mall; and travel past Ruimsig Golf Course, to the R28/N14 Krugersdorp/Pretoria Highway robot. Continue straight over this intersection and follow the road until you reach the T-Junction intersection with the R563 at Oaktree. Turn RIGHT and follow the R563 past the medieval Greensleeves Restaurant, all the way down to Hekpoort.
From Randfontein and Krugersdorp, get on to Van Riebeek Street (starts at Commissioner St) and follow past Munsieville and Sterkfontein Hospital to Oaktree and straight on to Hekpoort. When the R563 comes to an end in Hekpoort turn RIGHT on to the R560 to Skeerpoort. Follow this road for 18KM, as you come through Skeerpoort you will see the NG Kerk, followed by Die Ou Pastorie on your right. Continue past the farm lands on both sides of the road, around the sharp RIGHT HAND BEND to find a Total garage on your right hand side. Turn right at our Tangaroa Farm sign and the yellow and black S46 sign which are at the entrance to our driveway, straight after the Total garage wall. If you miss our entrance, you will find the Laerskool Skeerpoort on your right hand side. We are approximately an hour away 50km from the Dome at Northgate, as well as from Rustenburg, forty minutes from Key West Centre and one hour twenty minutes from Menlyn.
